I must be missing something.  I have 4.3.4 installed with AD authentication working, but there is no role data in the aspnet_Roles table nor anything from AD in the Roles table.  Did you say that AD roles are created in DNN automatically, or do I need to add them to DNN manually?  Can you elaborate on how the roles are supposed to be handled by the AD authentication on DNN?

ctwoodwa, you need to manually create the Roles in DNN. As long as the roles exactly match the role name in DNN (I think its case sensitive, even), users will be added to the role in DNN when they authenticate. I've been trying to figure out if they are supposed to be removed from the groups in DNN when they get removed from them in AD, because that isn't working for me.
