How are you uploading this?

The gallery has no database interaction at all, aside from its own xml structure.

Thanks Crispy, you are absolutely correct. It was an amazing coincidence (those that happen exactly when I have a prototype to finish by monday...) that I have a CommunityServer site on the same dedicated server and that was the one that got the DB in trouble at around the same time I upoloaded the image. After some investigation, I found the problem, and then the solution:

http://www.kdkeys.net/blogs/kingsley.tagbo/archive/2005/04/04/4457.aspx

It had NOTHING to do with Gallery or DNN, so I'm still a happy camper.

I would like to thank you all for the quick replies and for all the help and suggestions. This is a great project, and I will be trying to contribute as well, maybe building some kind of free module once i get the hang of it.

Once again, thanks !

Hi All,

I am a new bie too in DNN, I have almost the same problem, I am using simplegallery module, I have tried to install it on my local computer, everything are working perfectly, but when I installed it on my production server, the installation was finished successfully but everytime I tried to add new photo into my album, the module seemed did not upload it, since in my album's folder was still empty and there was no photo have been added into my album either but when I uploaded the photo manually to my album's folder and do synchronize, everything is normal, the photo was appeared in my album. I have checked the permission stuffs, everything has been set correctly, Does anyone know what could be the problem ?

I am using
simpleGallery module version 02.03.16 and
dnn version 04.08.04

The SimpleGallery module is not a DNN project.  Please get the support from the vendor.
