Yes this is the file.  If you have to do uploads larger since 8192KB so you have change the maxRequestLength and the requestLengthDiskTreshold.  Also it is then better to ad a executationTimeOut.  In the following an example for files UP and down load of 80MB:

 <!-- allow large file uploads -->
    <httpRuntime useFullyQualifiedRedirectUrl="true" maxRequestLength="81920" requestLengthDiskThreshold="81920" executionTimeout="1500" />

Whcih file manager are you looking at...the gallery pictures show up under the Admin menu file manager not the Host file manager.

Sure but on DNN 4.6.2 you must synconize the Files before thise are showing in the File Manger, if you have not set this as ato syncronize in the hostsettings.

One short note. The Execution Time Out value is related to SQL queries/scripts execution, not file uploads.

OK, now we are getting somewhere.  As someone posted earlier, I was indeed looking at the wrong File Manager.  I was looking at the one under the "Host" menu, instead of the one under the "Admin" menu.  Once I went there and resynched the folder, I could see the gallery folders and their permissions.

However, I still have a problem.  When I select the root "Gallery" folder and look at the permissions, "Administrators" has View & Write rights.  And "All Users" has just View rights.  I am in the "Administrators" role, and yet I still have the problem of not being able to upload files.  When I select the sub-folders of the "Gallery" folder (including the Albums and "_thumbs" folders), the same Folder Security Settings are in place - which looks right, as they should be inherited from the root "Gallery" folder, right?

Anyway, I would appreciate any further comments or suggestions.  Thank you.

Try to give registered users edit Rihts in the Module settings.  Then go to Gallery configuration and marl Gallery as "is private" add the Administrator as Owner.

Think this will solve your problem.

Matthias
