Yay... Take Me to the Community!

Welcome to the DNN Community Forums, your preferred source of online community support for all things related to DNN.

We know that.  It is known that the Gallery Module 3.0.12 is still beta and not for use in production envoyement.

Maybe a usefull workaround for anybody that wants to run the Gallery and do not want to disable Friendly URL's is:

set every gallery to "popup enable". This causes the picture-viewer and slideshow not to use the " " (%20) in the URL, because it pops up a window when a visitor clicks on a photo or chooses the slideshow.

To enable popup go to the module configuration (Gallery configuration) -> Settings -> check "Enable popup".
You have to enable this on a module-by-module basis. (So for every gallery you have in your DNN website).

Tested OK with DNN 4.8.2.
This only solves visitors-access to the pictures and slideshow. (This does not solve the admin-pages-problem, here you have to manually change each url from ...../%20/.... to ..../+/..... .)

All workers on the Gallery v4 module: thanks in advance for a good working ASP2.0 Gallery!

Regards,
Jan-Pieter Veen
