YEY, after taking abreak from this I went back to it and have now found what I was looking for to make the fix. THe Gallery is alive!!!!!!

I found the source code for the Gallery.  :)  Sourceforge changed on me and I couldn't find anything until today. 

Anyway....  I'll be fixing this little issue as well as a couple of others that didn't get into the last beta version.

For those interested.. I put together a patched version of the gallery software that has this issue fixed.  You can now set the roles and pick the "all users" role to give everyone that comes to your site access to download.
