Hi Tam! It's been a long time! Glad to see you're still DNNing it.

Excellent work on the gallery, It looks very promising!

I'd rework CallbackHandler.aspx to return a JSON string (instead of the html table markup) and build the gallery on the client through the DOM like my free gallery. This will allow people on a much slower connection to still have a nice snappy interface when paging through all the images. I'd be happy to send you some code (like we did on the AD Auth projects years ago), maybe even merge the two together and add flickr/picasa support into your module? Anyways, Let me know! I'd love to help if you need some help. DNN really needs a powerful and stable image gallery that doesn't get deserted.

Either way, Keep up the great work Tam!!

Hi Oliver

Glad to see you still around here, such a long time since we work together in AD Authentication.

It's nice surprise for me to know that you also interested in develop a gallery module. I happy to share my works with you as before.

However there are still lots of  work need to be done in the module to make it cross-browse compatible, and album/file edit UI still not completed yet.

I will let you know when the module ready to go live.

The boring task for me now is a migrate tool to pull old gallery data from the xml and input them into SQL database since I have implemented my ex-gallery in many sites

Keep in touch

Thanks Matthias for your advise.

I think Scott (or who currently DNN site admin) still keep my role permissions here.

I know at the moment, the team is working hard to make the old gallery released.

To be honest, there are so many exiting features to work with the new gallery, that I don't few interested in working with the old gallery any more. I will contact the team when I already have some thing new to share.

Regards

tamttt
