I will add my vote to this feature -- my plan is to have personal blogs for each of the ministry areas of my church site, and many of those areas have more than one person in charge.  I would like for each person in the ministry team to be able to contribute to the blog without having to share a login.

The trickle-down effect of the single login is - what happens when a single contributor or a team member is no longer involved with the blog?  In order to keep the blog history, you'd have to keep the login and change the name ~ which I assume would change the name associated to the previous blogs that they didn't write.

I got around this by using the Ventrian.com News Article module for my blog, you can give edit permissions to the module to other users and any can post to the same blog.  Yes it isn't a free solution but it works and personally the price is not that bad.
