Did the suggestion on replacing the XML module work for anyone else?  I'm on godaddy hosting, and just started getting this error.  I haven't changed anything lately.  I tried the latest XML module, and still get this error.  Any other ideas?  I can't create new announcements or text items or edit them.

this is a known error caused by a microsoft asp.net patch, please either follow the guidelines @ http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/92/threadid/156395/scope/posts/Default.aspx or else update to the latest version of the blog module to fix the issue.

I tried both fixing the accented character and uploading the new blog module, and still doesn't work.

I'm on godaddy hosting.

I'm trying to edit an annoucement or text/html.

ah, older versions of dotnetnuke had the same issue with the text/html module - please upgrade to a more recent version such as 4.5.5
