I was getting the same errors as in your post and found that it is a problem with the DNN installer.   See this posting attached, and the entry by Onytech regarding the errors in the desktopmodules table, having -1 in the features field where it should be 0.   I had several from recent module installs, and when I fixed the table, the errors went away.

Thanks for your post. Yes, I had already discovered the fix for the "General Exception" errors mentioned above. It did NOT however fix my original post for Error: Blog Module Options is currently unavailable. The first even log entry above is still a problem. I really have to make a decision quickly at to whether or not I can use this module. I have been given no direction on this error. Please somebody give me a clue as to where to start.
