Antonio

There is also a second error in some instances where there were directional " characters in the blog files.  I am not sure which versions specifically but I have fixed it for a few clients.  I think it might be only on very limited versions, but my client had 4 instances of those characters plus the odd e character.

Mitchel,

Is that a double-quote character? And are they found in the same EditEntry.asmx file?

Yes it was, I found them scattered in the code of the edit entry page, at least for my client they were.  I found it easy to use visual studio to find them as it gave me the syntax error to notify me of the incorrect character.

I can't find any out of place quotes. Any chance you could just email me a copy of your EditEntry.asmx? shnar@hotmail.com is my email...

shnar,

I'm sorry but I don't have a copy of it, it was for a clients website and I don't keep local copies of their data.

Can you edit text in other portions of the website that use the rich text editor?  It is possible that the error is within that area as well.
