i'm not brave enough to move to DNN5, but blog 3.05.01 has rendered my existing blogs worthless even on DNN3.8--the Read More links all don't work.

Does anyone know what the URLs should look like when you go from one page, the blog main page, to a blog entry?

Perhaps this complicates things, but my blog main page has blogs from 3 DIFFERENT blogs/bloggers.

If ANYONE ccould help, i would be very very greatful.

This is the blog:

http://www.babbaco.com/blog.aspx

This is what the post called "The journey of a mompreneur" tries to link to when you click read more:

http://www.babbaco.com/Blog/tabid/58/EntryId/36/The-journey-of-a-mompreneur.aspx

but instead, it goes to:

http://www.babbaco.com/Default.aspx?tabid=58&def=ErrorMessage

PLS PLS someone help me in my dire need to satisfy my client!

Hi Bomb27,

are you using a 3rd party URL rewriting module on that DNN install? This may be conflicting with the Blog module's SEO friendly URLs.

Bes regards,
Dario Rossa

Hi Guys

I am also having this problem. I tried a clean installation on my dev server and the live server but the problem persists. Is there any news on how to fix this problem yet?

Regards
Richard

Hi

I am new to DNN and am still finding my feet.

I have created a site and am on the verge of going live. One of the main requirements was the Blog option. I keep getting the error listed previously in this tread:

View_Blog
An error has occurred.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException:

I just cant get the blog module to work. I tried a clean installation on my dev server and the live server as suggested but the problem persists. What would my next step be to get some to help me with this issue. Is there a support area that we can contact?

Regards
Richard

Hi Richard,

the exception you reported does not give enough data to understand what happened, but I assume it is the same that was reported on the top of the thread. Did you try the fix I posted in this forum post?

Best regards,
Dario Rossa
