I've placed a blog module on one of my pages, and I think it's great. Works perfectly and has lots of features. I just cant seem to figure out how to create more than one blog. I've seen how you can create child blogs for a given blog, but I no longer have the option of creating more parent-level blogs. I have one in the list and I have child blogs under it, but I really want them to be parent level. What am I missing? I'm sure I'm overlooking some detail. Thanks in advance for your help!

I have the same issue. I am working with dnn 4.3 - I am trying to use the blog and forum modules >> i think it can be very powerful. but i can't seem to add new top level blogs.

all it is letting me do is create a child blog (when clicking add new entry - a page appears with a drop down list showing the available parent blogs) without the option of choosing blank.

please provide assistance ASAP

The blogs module (unless it's recently being updated) only supports a single blog PER User. There's specific logic in the procedures which will only load a single blog per user. I think the way around this is to create blogs logged in as different users. I'm not sure how the core handled this on the mothership site since all the leads have a blog but it might be a child blog and not individual blogs for each user.

That's really too bad. Does anyone know of a good replacement blog module or a workaround to this behavior? I would really rather have as many parent level blogs as I need without having to log in as different people.
