Hi,

Is there any documentation on the installing and use of the blog module... I'm trying to install a blog but not everything is making sense to me.

Thanks,

Dale

Things I am trying to work out...

a) Based on my experience it appears that the 'core' blog display module (as in the module which will list and display entries) is the one called ''View Latest Blog Entires' - is my assumption correct?

b) Is there a way to list the entries of a single blog without making the other blogs available?

c) Is there a way to default the 'View Latest Blog Entires' module to a specific blog or blog entry so that it loads first?

d) Is there a way to make the 'more' link go to a different page?

e) Is there a way to remove the 'print' link from the blog entry page?

f) What does the 'Personal Blog Page' setting do?

g) Is there anyway to remove the 'Permalink' & 'Trackback' links?

Right - thats all for now :) any responses appreciated. Thanks

Hey there fellow antipode! A couple of answers for you:

a) Yes

b) & f) Personal blog lets you select only one blog to be displayed. How to use it... create your blogs. Add a new page and a new blog module. Set this one to Personal Blog and only that will show.  This setting is called "Personal Blog Page" and is located under Module Options.

Cool - thanks!

Shame that the personal blog setting doesn't let you specify a child blog.

I see the setting for "Personal Blog Page" under Module Options, but the value is a drop down and the only value available is "<Not Specified>".  Is there a user something-or-other I'm not doing?
