Hi everyone,

Is there a way for visitors to a page can rate that page?  This is similar to blogs I suppose, but I am building a site with a listing of businesses and I want people to be able to rate the businesses based on their experience with them.

Something like this:

Widget Business
Rating *** (45 votes)

Thanks for your help in advance!

The core Repository module includes a rating system, and a couple of templates (directory and business card) that you could use. Or you could even develop your own template to present the business info any way you like.

Does the repository work the same way that Snowcovered's site works?

http://www.snowcovered.com/snowcovered2/Default.aspx?tabid=241&sid=1912

You see how they have the ratings on the listings page, then those ratings carry over when you click on a product page?  It looks like your module is capable of this and I will gladly try it out, but in case it doesn't or if someone else needs help with this I thought I'd post it.

There is no 'details' page in the current version of the Repository. You can control the list view (similar to Snowcovered's listing page) but clicking will either download a file associated with the listing (if you're using the repository as a file listing), or redirect you to another URL (if you're using a directory type template)

You can see it working as a directory here at dotnetnuke.com on the Directory page
