Ok as far as I have gathered, I  have to
1] Using IIS, change permissions of WindowsSignIn.aspx to REMOVE anonymous access.
2] Modify web.config to UN-comment the directive.
3] Set the fields in Admin|Authentication.

Out of which I can...
1] Using IIS, change permissions of WindowsSignIn.aspx to REMOVE anonymous access.
2] Modify web.config to UN-comment the directive.

But, I can't
Access the Authintication page under the Admin tab. It displays the following error.

The default authentication provider specified in web.config is not configured properly. Authentication settings are disabled.

So I can't do the following.
1. Check "Windows Authentication?"
2. Check "Synchronize Role?"
3. Set "Root Domain"
4. Set "User Name"
5. Set password to the password for the user above
6. Set "Email Domain"

Any suggestions...

Many thanks.

Sasmit.

P.S. Do I need to run s fix or something?? I did not get that part....

Thanks Mike.  I actually found that one after I sent my message yesterday.  And all seems to be working fine.

Try commenting out the Authentication line in the web.config then go to the Authentication tab.
