Good Day!

I now own OnyakTech H20, and DataSprings Dynamic Forms.

I was wondering if anyone has used either one, and if they liked it and why?

Anyone have any other preferences, and why?

I have a subscription to Onyaktech, and use some of Chris' products...H20 not being one I particularly care for. It's not Firefox friendly, the [form] layout leaves a little to be desired, and it's a bit awkward to work in.

My favorite 'simple' form tool is FormMaster by Code5Systems. It's a well rounded tool with a good selection of features.

For forms that include workflow, I like Enterprise Forms by Ethuongmai. For the really heavy work, to the scale of module development, NukeDK is really nice although it has a high learning curve.

Wow, so you use 3! I will look into them thank you. Though NukeDK sounds intimidating. Might just write my own module before that :-)

1) Since I will be the only one ever developing these forms, and won't need Workflow - will the Enterprise forms be too much?

2) I will also need to retrieve information, any one of those offer that option?

3) Have you tried Xmod

Thanks for the heads up on H20 - I use Firefox - you saved me some headaches. :-)

Different tools for different jobs/needs.

  1. Yes
  2. FormMaster not only sends the information via email to an email address of your choosing, but also stores it in the database for easy retrieval (Excel, CSV, etc), and it has a few features to allow for redirect after the user has completed the for, or a user message.
  3. Yes, it's been some time and I find I can get better 'range' with less time with the mods I mentioned.

Thanks again. :-)

One more Q - Form Masters: Will it work on DNN 4.4.0?
