Hi all.

I'm hoping there is a way to have a team of people designing a DNN site on their local machines. As each person completes a task, I'd like to integrate that into a testing server and then promote things to production.

There would have to be SQL scripts for stored procedures and file upload for changed files. Possibly even integrate with a source control tool. Anyone doing this and care to share pointers?

Thanks

I've done this in the past for some clients...

It revolves on implementig a custom workflow solution to the modules (if you have their source, or if you want to program them from start) which should be involved in the process... and then mapping the right workflow for your needs and doing some custom development to achive the effort needed.

Unfortuantly I haven't seen such a done solution, they have something inlined for DNN core in the future, but no news yet about that.

you can do this with custom modules and skins, that can be individually developed, tested, packed and transferred.

For modules with content you can use export/import feature, but all sites should run the same version of the module used.

forgot to mention: for single site workflow, there is an advanced HTML module from Effority, that supports version and moderation.
