This is what I meant when I said: "As far as I can tell, if there is no container there is no module actions (I feel this is a core issue that should be resolved and not one within the module)."

If you do as I suggested, with the container w/ only the action menu, you will see the buttons in the upper right.(Like they are here)

Something is wrong here... I have another copy of the forum installed on a DNN3.11 site using the same skin and that one is showing all the extra buttons. The buttons are simply not showing up on DNN4.0.1

Yes... I've now reloaded the Forum into my DNN4.0.1 site just in case something had gone missing and sure enough.. those buttons still do not appear. I get the Moderate or the New Thread buttons, but the remainder that normally show up alongside are all gone.

Has anyone else got the forum running on 4.0.1 and can check this out?

Rob

You are absolutely correct, I didn't notice it until now.  That might explain why I haven't seen any posts in the last several days!

Not good...  I'm hoping 3.2 comes out soon and fixes it!

<-edit> I should clarify this, I "only" get the moderate button, so my forums are shut down! <-/edit->

Ok cool, at least we know it's something buggy. I guess the things to do is wait until the new release and see what happens... it's looking a lot closer now.
