Hi Folks,

I rolled back to 4.4.0 and still could not post with  WebForm_PostBackOptions!

So I followed Nicolo's link above back to Ventrian and now things are working again.  Basically you add webresource.axd to the exclusion list, then you delete all the cached files for your browser.

I had a corrupt webresource.axd on my client which was causing the problem.

I'll try the 4.4.1 upgrade and let you know how that goes.

Been waiting to see if a fix had been posted or if some other setting options had worked.

I tried all settings posted and then some and none seem to fix the problem. The issue does seem intermitent, though.

I was trying to post a blog entry. The Add Blog link worked, the Add copyright check worked, then the Update displayed the error in the Status bar.

I tried other options like turning off the whitespace filter, changing the type of compression, changing persistence, etc. nothing made a difference.

Wylie,
Submit a ticket via CrystalTech support. I will be in later this morning as I am getting an MRI on my shoulder this morning. Make sure to include in the ticket that I told you to submit it and that I wanted it assigned directly to me. Once I get in, I will start troubleshooting it from our end. See if we cannot lend some insight into this.

Hi Again,

I have successfully upgraded to 4.4.1 this time.  I had the default Performance and Compression settings both before the upgrade and after.  The only difference was that I added webresource.axd to the exclusion list and deleted all my locally cached files before the upgrade.

Thanks everyone.

Have a good day.

DV - How's your doing?

Still ok, excepted one general exception, but I do not think it is linked to this problem.
I just copy it here, not for asking help for this, I do not want to mix up posts. I think that it is ok for me, but I do not understand why some people have problems, and other do not.
