 Hi All,

I am still on 3.1 on two sites and using forums there.....I recently noticed the rich text editor seemed to have 'gone missing'......when I click on the rich text editor box it still does not show up like it used to......I upgraded to the latest release of the forums but to no avail....

I do remember at one point fiddling with RTE settings in web.config for some other module and that may have been a cause but the time I did that and the time I notices the forums change was at least a few weeks apart.

I was on someone elses site the other day and noticed the same thing has happened on his....so I am guessing there might be a common problem that someone might know about...

Thanks in Advance for any assistance possible...

Best Regards Peter Nolan www.peternolan.com

First, the 3.20.8 version of the forums are not compatible w/ DNN 3.1. Second, that problem is w/ IE 7 and FreeTextBox I believe. You either have to upgrade the FTB version or you will need to switch to another Rich Text Editor provider.
