Hello,

I have been trying to install the latest version (4.4.1) and have followed all the instructions but get stumped before the install even starts. The Event Log states that it cannot find the procedure dbo.GetPortals BUT the advice for this error in the installation guide doesn't help or seem to apply.

I have dropped and rebuilt databases, used the provided DB file and created a new DB, used SQL Auth and Integrated Auth accounts, given Full control to everyone AND Network Service, removed and reinstalled the DotNetNuke folder and contents.

When I look in the Database, I find a table called <<dbo.Version>> that has no rows in it. This table is created the first time that I try the install. I have managed to spoof an install by populating this table with a single row, giving a version of 1.1.1 and it then forces an UPGRADE install that then fails with an <<Invalid object name 'Host Settings'>> having run all the scripts from V2.0.0 through V4.1.1 with a sprinkling of success and error comments.

Does anyone know what the correct values for this table are OR whether it should be empty? I shall download the 4.3.7 version for an install later and see if this table is still unpopulated.

Any help would be appreciated.

Robert.
