I deleted a skin and container, but there are still there. And, it keeps generating errors in the portal and admin settings. How to I get rid of this?

One of the tests that Core Team does with skins that go in the MarketPlace is to ensure that it does delete.

If you can not delete, you can go via ftp or if you have access to the server, then just delete the folder and that should solve the issue

You need to assign a different skin or you will continue to get errors if the portal or page is trying to access a skin that has been deleted.

Deleting the folder will force the page to use the default DNN skin. But yes the errors would be there until you change the page skin to a different one or module container to a different container

I changed to a different skin and container before deleting the skin. I tried deleting it with an ftp client; it wouldn't delete. So, I shut everything down and left it for a day. It went away by itself. Probably, took time for the server to catch up with me.

BTW, I'm not really impressed with dnn. Seems like everything needs a work around. Now, I can't use banners because dnn truncates the url. But, I'll ask about that to another thread.
