http://www.zinc.com.au and http://scarab.zinc.com.au show how flash and DNN can work well and if you are stuck with no menu - getting one made up as Timo suggested will immediately help you get out of your situation

Nina, you have posted these sites as an example before and what I would like to know if the flash buttons get their data from the database or are hard coded....(if you are willing to share this secret)...

No secret - hard coded - but I do have a couple of little tricks for some of the page behaviour but that doesn't take away from the fact it is many files that run this  - but I just hard coded them since it was the only way I could provide them with the font they were looking for.  It was tedious but they don't change the menu items so it doesn't matter at that level.

That site is nearly all flash.

The main reason we used flash was for font consistency - which was part of the design spec and really no other reason or I would have used the Inventua top menu

And I don't have much to hide - if you ask and I know the answer, or have some experience with it then I'm happy to share with you Timo. I guess what I like about these sites is their 'un dnn' look and feel to let people know that not all dnn sites have to be the same... I'll try to use some other examples for a change.

Nina, in my opinion you don't have to use other examples, I think they are really good examples.
And you are right they have no visible connection to DNN at all.
