I created a new module for my corporate intranet. I am going through the procedure for packaging a pre-compiled module, and so far I have done everything I have read in the forums, including Shaun Walker's post on the ASP.NET forums without success.

I keep receiving this error:

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: The file '/DNN440/DesktopModules/moduleName/ViewmoduleName.ascx.cs' does not exist. --->

-- removed the rest for brevity --

I made sure that the web.config has the moduleName in the codeSubDirectories section, and followed all the instructions I can find to the T. Not sure whats up, other than the fact that I followed Shaun's guide rather than the guide I found on adefwebserver.com. They seem to be fairly close except that the adefwebserver guide requires a custom module template.

Any suggestions?

Cheers!

Yeah, this is the exact tutorial I referenced in my original post... Any clue why I am getting this error?

Cheers!

My guess is that you have the .cs file still listed in the .dnn manifest file.  You need to be sure that the file is NOT listed in the manifest, otherwise an attempt will be made to load it.
