First of all, congrats to the Core Team for another great release!!!

Now my question, which I have made before but got no good answer.

Background: I have developed a module with multiple user controls that I load dynamically depending on the current user action and state, this is working fine. There are examples for this type of architecture using URL parameters to pass the value of the module that should be loaded but I decided against that and am using session variables to keep this value instead. I like to have a clean and a little more secure URL line. (Please don’t flame about the use of session variables, this is an intranet application with a limited number of users on a hefty server, plus, it is already done this way). Also, I have only one registered View module where my application runs under, I don't want to have to define all the application user controls to DNN (I am not using NavigateURL).

Finally the actual question: Is there any way I can determine programmatically from my module if the module was invoked from the menu? You know, versus a reload because the user navigated to another user control. Right now I have a button the user can click if they want to restart the module, which is okay but I know of other instances where clicking on the menu option again should put you at the first page (user module) of the main view module.

Thanks.

Carlos
