Is it possible to enable the PopulateNodesFromClient Web option on the drop down lists from the URLControl when the File option is selected? I am trying to find a way to prevent really long load times for my site and module settings pages.

Currently no...  though I am curious how you would see the user interface working?  what client-side event would trigger the loading of more items in the dropdown?

I'm Sorry, I do not know much about this topic. All i want to be able to do is to limit the amount of time it takes for the dropdown menus to populate. Is there a way to limit it so that it only populates the contents of a folder once the user has selected it? ie. Only populate the folder menu, once a user has selected the desired folder, then the files dropdown is populated.

Anyone? I just need a way to edit the code so that it does not look at  every single file when it is displayed. Only the files in the current directory.

Is there some area of code where i can edit the URLControl so that when the 'File' option is selected, it only loads the content from the currently selected folder. Then when the user selects another folder, it only loads the content of the newly selected folder?

Hope that makes sense.
