Hi,
I've inherited a DNN site and am having a problem when I create a new page. About 50 modules are instanced on a new page even if I select default or <none specified> in the page temple field. Whether I create a new page or use the 'copy' button, the result is the same every time - about 50 modules.
I've removed all .template files from the installation - no change. Is the default page info. stored in the database somewhere? Could it be some sort of caching issue?..
Any help / pointers greatly appreciated.

Well, after some further digging I found that the modules were being instanced because Modules.AllTabs was set to True for about 50 records (modules). Changeing the fields to False solved the problem and enabled me to create a new empty page.
However this does beg the question as to how a module can be reset so that it doesn't appear on all pages if it has previously been set as a default page module.
Someone please enlighten me...
