We are using DNN 3.1.0 and wondering if the following option is available in the core modules.

We want the ability to create folders just for individual clients and they are the only DNN users that can view their information (GET/PUT) to their folder.    Plus, we don't want the files they put in their respective directory to be visible unless they are logged in.   So if we created another folder for a second client they can only view the files in this new folder.

I can't see anything that does this but would a newer version of DNN have this?   Or are there any modules out there that will handle this?

Thanks.

Upgrade to DNN 3.3.7 or 4.4.1, where you can grant read/write permission to the folders; if you want to make sure, no unauthorized visitor can get the files, create secure folders (DNN 3.3.7/4.3.7+ only).

I just installed 3.3.7 and found that I can't use Firefox when creating folders because they don't show up anymore.   That's a different issue.   I created 3 secure folders and then created 3 users plus 3 roles.   Then I created a new page for each user and only gave that user access to their pages.   On each page I put a 'Documents' module for users to upload files.

My new question is if I can prohibit people from adding new pages and only allow them to upload and download files with the Documents module just to their secure folder?
