I backed up and downloaded my database from my hosting provider.  Then I restored my dev database so I could be using the same DB on my production site and my dev machine.  I can see my restored dev db with mgmt studio, but I can't attach to it.  I am using SQL Express and the backup is from SQL Server 2005.  Here is my dev connection string and my production connection string.

DEV Strings from Web.config

<

...

<

add key="SiteSqlServer" value="Data Source=.\SQLExpress;Integrated Security=True;User Instance=True;AttachDBFilename=|DataDirectory|myDBName.mdf;pwd=myprodpasswd;"/>

and here is my production string

<

...

<

add key="SiteSqlServer" value="Server=(local);Database=ParaPro;uid=myDBName;pwd=myprodpasswd;" />

Thank you for the help.

Mark
