Using DNN v 4.3.5 and started creating a new module that is basically a form.   We want to autopopulate a few fields in the form based on the registered user.   After they fill out a form we would like to have the linkbutton post to a vbscript (form.asp) page with POST values.

Is this even possible?  Or will we somehow have to recreate our form.asp functionality in new class?

Thanks.

Auto populating the form with logged in user can be done, just create the UserInfo object and populate it. You can then post the data to an asp page. Not sure if your asp page is part of the module or sitting on another server.

The asp page is a .asp (vbscript) page that accept POST variables.   I haven't found any code that tells if you can send post data.  You can't just put action="filename.asp" because your creating a module and the form is outside the module.   I thought with .net you can only have one form anyway.

Any ideas how this is done?

If you absolutely need to post data then you will need to write additional .net code to call the httpwebrequest object to post form data to the filename.asp page.  Otherwise just form a querystring and redirect to the filename.asp page.
