OK... I want 3 blogs on my site... on 3 different pages... here's what I tried:

Page 1... add blog... configure for "Person A"

Page 2... add blog... was configured for "Person A". Changed to "Person B"

Page 3... add blog... as configured for "Person B". Changed to "Person C"

Now all 3 pages are for "Person C"... Each should be maintainable ONLY by that one person. I'm giving edit control on each page to a person, and don't want any cross-management...

So... how do I accomplish this? Or do I?

Sign me... Ready to blog... but to confused to start... LOL

You want 3 Blog on 3 different pages !!

no that is not possible with the current released version.

This feature is called Personal Blog Page and will be available with the next version.

Dang... one of these days I'm going to want something that exists... LOL

So... promise to not hold you to it... but... 1st quarter 2006? 2nd Q? later? I'll survive without it, but just curious as to a SWAG date.

Thanks for all your work,

Paul

Paul,

I agree with you !!

This feature and a lot more are already implemented and my idea was to release the new version as a Christmas gift.

But first, it seems that it is not possible to schedule a release for a fix date and second and that is the main reason why I have stopped the release for this month is, that the version 4.0.1 has (in my eyes") a bug that effects the blog module so that it failed.

I believe it is not a good idea to release a new version of the blog module as long as the current dnn framework is not fixed. Sorry I don't know when a fixed version will be available. I have asked for that, but I didn't get any answer.

so whats the bug in the current framework? I know of one (has to do with moving modules to differing panes) in 3.2.1... so I'm back to 3.2.0
