Ok, I must admit that a year experience with DNN 3.x doesn't cut it when migrating to DNN 4.x and VS 2005. We use to utilize the Speerio MyModules.sln setup for developing modules from within VS 2003

Since migrating to VS2005 I have migrated a couple of DNN Modules written in .NET 1.1 to .NET 2.0 in the VS 2005 environment. I also creatred my own solution file that only includes the DNN Web Solution and the modules I want to migrate. It excludes all the other DNN projects from the solution (similar to the MyModules setup in VS 2003).

After the modules have been migrated, I wanted to add another .ascx control to one of the module projects, but by God, how the heck do you do this??? I have copied existing .ascx controls and tried to rename them, but to no avail (the codebehind doesn't get renamed). I have tried renaming outside the IDE, but this doesn't work either. So has anyone worked like this and how is it done.

For some stupid reason the Module project which is obviously a class library doesn't allow me to add a control.

I've moved modules from DNN3 to DNN4 and continued developing them without any issues using WAP in the approach described here: http://dnnla.nesinteractivos.com/Desarrollo/DNNLibrary/tabid/88/TID/13/cid/12/Default.aspx
