I'm looking to develop a module which interacts with a B2B web service (essentially as it's data provider) for online accommodation bookings.

I can add a web reference into my local project, and have the module successfully access the data - but how do I package it all up for deployment (considering the App_WebRefences folder is giving me access to strongly typed data etc...)

Any pointers? I'm having trouble finding a starting point for this one...

Dynamic Module: Include the web reference directory with the rest of the code.  The other option is that you do not send them the web services directory and include instructions on how to add the web reference into their project.

Compile module: you do not need to send the user the web references directory because the code is compiled into a dll and the user does not need the source code.

I have another thought on this, but am not sure it will work.  Will try to test my idea out and if it works will post here again.

If you use VS 2005, you might need the wsdl.exe (http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/cptools/html/cpgrfwebservicesdescriptionlanguagetoolwsdlexe.asp) to generate the code for package in the DNN module.  In VS 2003, the code is generated when you register the web service.
