I have no idea why this is happening but it is not letting the users upload files anymore.  I am getting the below error when I try change settings on the module settings page.

An error has occurred.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Could not find file "C:\HostDir\Domains\2ndGrooveRaceway.com\wwwroot\Portals\0\default.xml". ---> System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file "C:\HostDir\Domains\2ndGrooveRaceway.com\wwwroot\Portals\0\default.xml". Hey Rick.

My first question is whether that file does still exist on your site. I'm not sure why it's looking for that file.as I just did a search on my development install and didn't find a default.xml file anywhere. Did you change any of the default settings (skin, file storage area, etc) when you initially set up the repository? Is the error you posted when you click on Settings or when the user clicks upload? Can you get into the settings on any other modules?

I upgraded my site from DNN 2.1.2 to DNN 3.1 with no problems on the repository.  Then I upgraded my site to 3.21 and now it is broke.  It has never had the default.xml filer and do not know where is it looking for it (in the system).  It is just stopped my ability to upload new files.  The error shows when I try to work on the settings and also when I try to upload any files.  The error cam directly when I went to settings.  This is only happening on the repository module and I have quite a few of them and it happens on all of them.

Mike,

I fixed it.  I went through and ran "DELETE FROM Files WHERE (PortalId = 0)" on the database then I synchronized the file system and now i am ok.

Thanks
Rick

Good news Rick. I was thinking about this on my way to work this morning and I suspect it was for the "No Image" setting when the list gets populated. The db most likely said there was a default.xml file in there while in reality there wasn't one. Synching the db may have been enough to fix it.

BTW, did you get my email last week (RE: GMSS).
