Google has several data centers and several thousand servers. What you are seeing is a form of the "Google Dance" where sometimes you are still getting old results.

You no longer have the word DotNetNuke in your homepage output, so those ads should stop showing up in a few days.

Hi, I really don't think that is it. If you look at the home page now, it has DNN ads. If you click "more" on the blog entry, the increase in keywords instantly changes all the google ads away from DNN. Also, if you go to the Forum page, which I just set up, it has zero DNN ads. http://www.bringjackieback.com
Speaking of blogs, is it possible to make the entire post show, without the "more" link? I can't find a setting for that.
Thanks!

Believe me, that is it.  The reason Google was showing DNN ads on your home page was because it had already spidered and indexed that page and you had to wait for it to spider and index the new content to remove those keywords. Then the index had to be refreshed in all of it's datacenters.

The reason you don't see it on new pages is because Google never saw DNN in the content of those pages.

No, I don't know how to show the full post, but I think you are stuck with the read more link unless you modify the code.

Hi John, I really do appreciate all of your input, and I am not trying to argue, but if that is the case then a few things don't make sense:
1. When I use the Google Adsense Preview tool, the DNN ads show up. That tool looks at the current page, not a cached version like the search engine does.
2. When I expand the blog entry, increasing the relevant content, the DNN ads go away and relevant ads show up.
3. The forum page is now showing dnn ads too.
There must be something there somewhere. I have DNN running in my root directory of my shared hosting account. Does that matter? Maybe all of the dnn installation files are being read by Google? If so, can I use some kind of custom blocking like a robots.txt to stop those files from being read?
Thanks again!
