Alright!  ok i started from scratch (again, lol) and finally got it workin.  Although i have a concern...my buddy who turned me on to DNN told me to only us SQL server authentication.  I also found forums that said the same thing.  On the other hand i found forums that told me the exact opposite, they told me to use windows authentication.  The only way i could get it to work is to use IIS_WGP as the login and user for the database using windows authentication....so i guess my question now is: did i make my web server/DNN installation open to intrusion\attack?!?

IIS experts step in now.

I have only ever used SQL Login access myself.
