If you're using codefile then it is expecting the code to be in the app_code folder... change it to use codebehind and compile as you would normally do so.

Thanks for the response.  I did make the change you specified and now get lots of errors "could not load type ..."  I don't think that I compiled the dlls correctly.  I have done  a lot of research and still can not make this work.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have also been getting the could not load type error(I am rewritng the feedback module to suit my own needs and have set up a module and replaced all the files with theose from the feeback sourde - then renamed all the namespace statements to my own )

After looking for ideas it does seem that the could not load type error is more with in VS2005 or the .net compiler rather than dotnetnuke!!

Any help on this also appreciated
