This thread just got started today.  Show some patience!  The people answering are volunteers. :)

The thread did not just get started today.  I started this thread on February 13th.

I understand that the people answering are volunteers.  DNN would not exist without volunteers.  But DNN is no longer the sample project that it started as.  People are using DNN for some significant sites today.  I'd like my employer to be a DNN benefactor.  But with my experience so far, I don't have faith that we can get the support that we need.

Thank you very much for the information.  I'll investigate this particular suggestion tonight.

Missing assemblies

Thanks again for the information.  However, this is not the cause of my site's problems.

I have the same problem and I have checked for missing assemblies.
All possible missing assemblies listed here are present on my site, but I still get the error.
How do I revert back to the previous version of DotNetNuke 4.3.5 which was on the server before I made the mistake upgrading to 4.4.1 too soon?
Unfortunately I do not have a back up of the site :(

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, but without a backup, you are hosed.

I'm not having this problem, but I am working on upgrading all my sites to 4.4.1 this week, and this thread is terrifying me. The possible solution someone posted before referred to the problem only occurring if the person was using a vertical skin. Were you guys using vertical skins, by chance?

If you haven't already, you may want to post this in a broader forum rather than this one, since it seems that the problem isn't necessarily with the Announcements module.
