Thanks, I have visit your site last night. One problem exists. I don't have the permission to create a blog.

The best should be, check the permission for my test account, log-in with my account and create a blog for the account so that I can see how you have done the setup for the blog.

regards

HP

You're quite right. Sorry about that. I do know better. I changed the permissions and logged in under your account and it now shows Create My Blog.

Thanks!

I am programatically adding blog entries, and I'm seeing the same behaviour.

Here's a snippet of my code...

/// create entry.

int id = entryController.AddEntry(entry);

log.Debug("2entry.AddedDate=" + entry.AddedDate);

entry = entryController.GetEntry(id); /// this is where the Added date changes

log.Debug("3entry.AddedDate=" + entry.AddedDate);

/// upload files to the folder that matches this blogId... then save the entry again.

The blog time zone is set to GMT+13

Here's the log info

2005-12-23 11:35:15,143 DEBUG  BlogPostId:(null) - 1entry.AddedDate=12/23/2005 11:35:15 AM
2005-12-23 11:35:15,143 DEBUG  BlogPostId:445 - 2entry.AddedDate=12/23/2005 11:35:15 AM
2005-12-23 11:35:15,158 DEBUG  BlogPostId:445 - 3entry.AddedDate=12/22/2005 10:35:15 PM
2005-12-23 11:35:15,158 DEBUG  BlogPostId:445 - RenderAttachments(... ...)

As you can see it appears to me as tho the +13 has been added AGAIN when the entry is re-saved.

Cheers.

Murray.

I am not using GMT time, but set it to -5 which I believe is correct for Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

I have setup my blog on your site and have seen that the portal time zone is setup to GMT -8 and you setup your blog time zone to -5.

I believe that is the problem, setup your time zone of the blog and the portal to the same and try again.

Would be nice if you can report what happens.

HP

BTW: If you like log on with my test account and try it first with my blog settings.
