Hi Everyone,

I have inherited an Intranet web page running on a Windows 2000 Server, IIS 5.0, Dot Net Nuke (no idea what version yet) and it is having problems.  I need some guidance on where to start, what to work on and/or what to look for being the problem.

The site ties to AD somehow and when the user opens the Intranet page (their home page) it shows them options based on the AD username.  The trouble is, the page starts to open then requests their AD information again, rather than accepting their ID automatically.  If you enter it the page opens, with the right options, but every subsequent page requires the same login...

So obviously something isn't right, I've never used DNN before and have no idea what I'm doing... any suggestions on what to start with/work on?

Thanks in advance...

Knowing which version of DNN is running is something that's really needed because if it's pre-DNN3 then it was a separate module and not part of the DNN core. If it's DNN 3 or DNN 4 then I'd check to make sure the site is either in the Trusted Sites or Intranet Sites in the Internet Options on the local computer.

Well I am obviously new to DNN so can you tell me some what that I can tell what version it is, since trying to browse to the admin site throws up an error.

WCHAdmin:

If you have access to the server, look for DotNetNuke.dll (in the bin directory), Right-Click, Properties, the Version tab will tell you the version.

Ok, it shows version 2.1 so I think I'm pretty out of date.  I'll have to take a look at downloading the new version and starting over... unless someone has some suggestions.
