Hi,

I've finally got the site working. Can't say I know for sure what I did but eventually checking database user
permissions, IIS, etc and opening the page from Studio Express, it finally came up. I tend to think the
starterkit error is irrelevant and misled me for a while.

Colin I'm pretty much in the same boat as you but I'm now trying to get access to the site from localhost. Because I think I'm going to run into trouble later when I go to put one of these DNN site up on a server. I've asked a question in this forum (

) and I seem to be stuck in the mud at the moment. I'm pretty much at the point where I'm thinking that a complete re install of all parts might be  required and thats  a bit too much bother . I might just  go with it and see what happens when I go to  put it up.
