Is your codebehind for STWM_TAX_OE_InputSpecs.ascx.vb inheriting from PortalModuleBase?

christoc beat me to it.

In your code behind, make sure you have this line under your class name:

Inherits PortalModuleBase (you'll need an imports for this shorthand).

If it's a Settings control, you'll need:

Inherits ModuleSettingsBase

I don't think the meta:resourceKey is necessary, someone esle will have to speak on that as I don't use the markup in the aspx to layout or create controls.

Yes indeed, it is inheriting from portalmodulebase.  Here is the top of my codebehind.

    Public Class OE_InputSpecs
        Inherits DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.PortalModuleBase
        Implements DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.IActionable
        Implements DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.Communications.IModuleListener

Sounds like every thing is in order. They thing that gets me sometimes is that the entries in the resource file for the help are case sensitive.  You need to make entries for LabelID.Help not labelID.help.  The thin yellow box you describe is how it will act if there is no text in the resource file for that control .Help

or did someone already suggest this?
