I have a portal and i have assigend roles to the users. When they enter the portal thay only see those pages according to roles. The problem is when they click on there name to go to Manage profile They see a link for MANAGE SERVICES. All the other services(Roles) they can subsribe. I don't want to subsribe to any other services(The roles that i have created) how can i prevent the user to subcribe to other services or how can i get rid of the manage services link on the manage profile.

I have the opposite problem. When I click on my name on this site, I can manage my subscriptions. When I click in my own portals, I do not have links to manage subscriptions. I am only able to manage user information. How do I enable the user management of public roles?

When you assign security roles you can make those roles public. When a person signs in and go to there profile there is a link for manage services and there u see all the roles u have created. You see the roles becuase you have checked the box to make it public. If u uncheck the box then u will not be able to see the other subscriptions.

Hello,
You can go to Admin > Security Roles and change/modify roles here.

If you click Public on Role Edit page, portal users can subscribe the role.
If you remove the tick on the checkbox, users cant subscribe this role, even they see this role at Manage Services section.

That's the way it used to work. This is the version dnn tells me is installed 04.03.04

I had this feature with a previous version, but it seems to have disappeared on this version. How do I find it? When I click my name at this site, I have my info and 4 links above it: Manage User Credentials, Manage Password and Manage Profile. I seem to be missing the Manage Services link or a link anywhere that would take me to a services page where I can manage subscriptions. How do I enable that again. I do have public roles assigned for the portal.

I am very confused.
