Hi!

I´m working on a site for a customer with an organisation where registered should have possibilities to discuss things. The users are not so used with Internet and computers so they want a forum that is really easy to understand and easy to create posts. I have tried and showed them both the DNN core forum and ActiveForums, but they think it´s too complicated....

Do you know of any alternatives?

I have the older DNN "Discussions module" and thought it could be a much simpler alternative to them, I installed it and it seems to run fine, except that if I don´t set Edit rights to registered users no one can create posts. And if i set Edit rights to registered users, then they can create posts, but they can also delete posts from other users..!
Is this really correct behaviour if this module?

This module could be an alternative for me, but it´s not good with these Edit settings. Or have I missed something?

Regards Petri

I'm fairly certain that the "Discussions" module is no longer supported (Sunsetted, as they like to call it !)

As for a simpler (and more predictable) forum module, you might check out the excellent Presstopia forum.
