In my events module - when I check inherit from page (under settings) and apply

When I go back in the prior value has reverted - I am using dnn 4.4.1  and the latest release of events

Any Ideas?

I have ran into this myself.

When checking the "inherit settings from page" option a postback occurs.  Prior to clicking update you want to make sure taht the postback has completed in its entirety.

Hi Mitchell,

I know what you mean but this was not the postback in my case. Something went haywire with the module so only admins and higher could correctly view the module - if I set it visible to "all users" it would cause :

Server Application Unavailable

The web application you are attempting to access on this web server is currently unavailable.  Please hit the "Refresh" button in your web browser to retry your request.

Administrator Note: An error message detailing the cause of this specific request failure can be found in the application event log of the web server. Please review this log entry to discover what caused this error to occur.

Well, my resolution - (though it would have been nice to tell why this happened) was :

1. Drop a new event module on the same page

2. In the events table - replace the old moduleID with the new for the evnets in the old module

3. Delete the old module and Viola, back in business - your new module will display the events - and the permission setting now works... another miracle?

OH, and I even tried to change the inherit setting in the Database - and it would revert there as well
