Hello all,
I'm wondering if there is a way to write blog entries in DNN so that they don't show up until a specified time. This would be handy if one were going on vacation - you could write your blog posts the week before and have them show up while you are gone. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Will

You can change the "date" of a blog, but I'm not sure if that delays when it's published. You'd think it'd be an easy thing to add to the code though, don't display until the date has passed.

Hey, I just created a blog and set the Created Date to one day in the future and had an interesting result. When you predate the post, it doesn't appear on the Blog Summary page. That's a good thing, as this will allow you to enter in many blogs and have them published only when the dates are hit (time is taken into account too).

However, in the Blog Archive calendar, the days in the future that have blog posts are linkable. If you click on them, they show all the posts for that day. This is bad, since while the blog is not published on the main Summary page, it IS published on the Archive pages.

I guess it's probably OK for most blogs, but it does look a little unprofessional...
