Hi, I'm new to DNN and have read a lot, now testing. I'm pretty sure that I read that the users in the parent portal are part of the users in the child but of course would not be part of any new parent portals created. Well I made a parent..  added a few users then added a child. Went to the child website and tried to login with the user credentials from it's parent. This did not work. Can anyone help me? Is there something I need to turn on or an entry I need to add? I do want it to work in this way, I'm using 4.4.1

Thanks

Parent / Child is misleading.  All portals are separate virtual websites within DNN.

The only difference in a child portal is how you access it as a subfolder of a domain.

Is there any way to do what I would like to do?
