These are amazing forums. I was just thinking: I wonder if I can have a page somewhere else on my site where announcemnets can be archived to, so that web-site visitors can go and have a look at the history of announcements. Thus making the main announcements module not too cluttered. And here's thread about basically the same requirement.

It would be great to be able to do such a thing. I realise I could manually do it with a Text/HTML module and just copy/paste the text, which I may do the in the meantime, but it would be so much better if it could be done automatically, i.e. as announcements expire or are deleted from the main displaying module.

Does anyone know if this site http://www.feeco.com/ is using the core Announcements module? It has a link at the bottom of the module going to another page with the complete list of announcements, which is functionality I'd like to implement.

you can do that if you use this strategy:

* create for each detail a new page that contains text/html, and enter the detail of your announcement there

* have the announcement items point to the appropriate page

* set the announcement module to "display on all pages"
