Just had an idea - with regards to your last post about redirecting users after registration - Would be great if we could redirect the user to the Manage Services aspect of their user profile.  - Even better if you could also do this AFTER the "Verification" aspect of registration, so the first successful login AFTER registration they could go directly there and select a subscription!  That would remove a LOT of the guesswork out of the user's registration process.

Yes that would be nice.  It would be a very simple module to write though to dynamically get the user's id and redirect to the appropriate URL.  Just redirect users to the page with that module on it.

But you know...looking at the IFRAME module...maybe you could try to use it like the above.  You can add the user id property to an URL...just an idea.

Shawn,  with that last idea - I started a thread in "Discuss It" to kind of petition the idea - HERE!

I'm not quite getting the IFRAME idea.  But it seems now in 4.4 you can add a Useraccount to a page with other modules - (at least other times I tried it seemed to remove the other modules)

So you could place Instructions in a Text/HTML above the user account.  It's "easier" but still a couple steps behind "the petition"

If you were to turn off friendly urls temporarily, then go to your own manage services link.  Check out the address bar.  If the IFRAME were to point to that root url and dynamically fill in the appropriate user id....maybe it won't work, but maybe it will.
