In order to try to help you can you please provide some details about your configuration?  Is this on your home machine?  At a host?  Is this the install package?  How is IIS configured?

If this is a clean install it is often easier to just completely wipe out the existing files and start over again fresh.  Make sure to follow the instructions in the install guide for proper IIS configuration.

Your English is better than some of my family - don't worry about it.

Assuming you are going to use the local Database.mdf in the Data folder, after you extract all the files you need to create your virtual directory.  Follow the instructions in the [DotNetNukeFolder]\Documentation\StarterKit\WebServerConfig.html file.  Next, just navigate to localhost/install/install.aspx?mode=install in your browser.  That should do it.

There are different packages - make sure you are using the install package.

Hello,

I set up the connection string for two type of configuration and the result is the same.

I read the WebServerConfig.html and I checked the configuration of IIS and all is right.

I try to install the "install package".

I put http://localhost/...../instal.aspx?mode=install and I have a other error:Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
